It's useful when designating where a sound should sit in the stereo field, bit it doesn't use the haas effect. The stereo separation knob just lowers or raises the volume in the side channels vs the mid channel. It uses the haas effect, which really makes use of your stereo field. I'm just trying to get amp 1 panned hard left and amp 2 panned hard right before I get started tweaking. Hmm, in general, I'd go for the stereo enhancer. Same problem chases me, I can't get true stereo separation of the amp blocks. I have hard panned those outs, and also tried putting them both up the middle. I am feeding a stereo input into pro tools from the Apollo console out 1-2. I have both cabs hard panned, stereo setting on the input mode. I have tried several different ways to route this out of the fractal and into pro tools / Apollo colsole. If I pan all the way left, it goes to the left loud and clear. Can anyone load up this basic preset start template (scene 1) and tell me why my hard left and right panning is wonky? If I pan all the way to the right, it gets quiet, stays in stereo, and goes and way in the background.
